Well I’m upset, cause I can check
It’s like I’m relying, speaking free
Like we used to be for such a long time
Well I throw you a stone letter smooth or rough
And I hope you read it one day, and feel the love
Chorus:
I throw it, stone letter
Thinking I could know you better
Cause I don’t know you, know you anymore
I wrote it, you got it
But tonight I thought about it, you don’t know me, know me anymore
Maybe your skeleton is talking too loud
I think I hear, I think I’m near a forest of clouds
Watching you degrade yourself, is degrading me
I got no say about you, I… anything
Chorus:
I’ve said it, stone letter
Thinking I could know you better
Cause I don’t know you, know you anymore
I wrote it, you got it
But tonight, thought about it, you don’t know me, know me anymore
Na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na
Na-na-na-na-na-na
Chorus:
I’ve said it, stone letter
Thinking I could know you better
Cause I don’t know you, know you anymore
I wrote it, you got it
But tonight, thought about it, you don’t know me, know me anymore
I said it, you read it
I said it, you read it

A small victory
I am jealous…had to work all day, plus only shitty corporate record stores in Vegas, probably didn’t have Tomahawk anyway…sour grapes much?
No Patton? No problem! San Jose Sharks blueliners Brent Burns and Dan Boyle stop by the Tomahawk studio to visit with Duane, Trevor and John while Mike stayed in the penalty box serving his game misconduct.
ROTFLMAO
I’m sure everyone is well aware of it, but in case you missed out;
Tomahawk are releasing a box-set with all 3 of their albums on vinyl (with a space for the upcoming 4th album).
It’s being released for Record Store Day.
Just finished beating The Darkness 2 on PC this morning.
Great shooter game and Mike as the Darkness is per-fucking-fect!
Oh, and I’m gonna be spamming Tomahawk song for the next hour!
Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3, etc.) has joined Tomahawk and will be involved with the groups new album. A posting in regards to that over on Dunn‘s official website reads:
“Upon arriving home from that tour, after licking my wounds, I need to dig into learning music for the new Tomahawk record. And yes, it seems as though I’m joining yet another band. This will probably make the fifth band with which Mike Patton and I have shared the stage. Duane Denison and I have been speculating about playing some music together for a while. So, Nashville, here I come.”
The post seems to imply that the above will take place around March. More details on Tomahawk‘s new album are currently pending.
