Seven Year Itch - Ka-Shume
A new song inspired by Stephen Kings’ Dark Tower…
Optimism for the future…mixed with sadness and regret. I am a confused and unhappy person.
Love is so bittersweet when it ends.
Not sure why this song comes to mind when I’m in this mood, its much happier than the way I feel… I guess it has to do with the sentiment that comes with it.
Seven Year Itch - Life for Your Crop
Life for your crop is inspired by Roland’s encounter with Brown and his raven Zoltan while chasing the Man in Black…
The gunslinger came down the hill slowly, leading the donkey on which his waterskins sloshed. He paused by the edge of the lifeless-looking cornpatch, drew a drink from one of his skins to start the saliva, and spat into the arid soil.
“Life for your crop.”
“Life for your own,” the dweller answered and stood up. His back propped audibly. He surveyed the gunslinger without fear. The little of his face visible between beard and hair seemed unmarked by the rot, and his eyes, while a bit wild, seemed sane.

Seven Year Itch - …and the gunslinger followed.
I am finally reading the last book (until the new one) of the Dark Tower Gunslinger series by Stephen King, and have decided to write an album inspired by the set which I have just re-read over the last months.
This song is the first, and I would love some feedback.
It is inspired by the feeling I always get when I start reading the series. The awe of an adventure beginning and the overwhelming feeling of the set of challenges I know Roland will face on his quest to the Tower. The desert sun baking him as he trudges through the dust, the mystery of the tower and the burden of his past filling his mind as he chases the man in black.
So what do you think?
