The little voice inside my head
Is reading through the words you said
And the words you wrote in blood
As I envision your sliver smile
A million years of sacred memories
Are all that I have left
Tearing through the fabric my mind
Listening inside for the voice of sympathy
But you can never say I didn’t try
Senseless hours of infinity
Too many lessons to learn in one life
If the hurting doesn’t stop
I’ll stay until daybreak
If it still hasn’t stopped
